Company Overview

Terra Associates, Inc. is a small, local, family owned and operated business in Kirkland, Washington. Founded in 1984, we have provided geotechnical engineering, hydrogeologic, and environmental assessment services to a wide variety of stakeholders from large corporate builders and municipalities to individual residential home owners. The majority of our projects are concentrated in Western Washington but also include projects in Eastern Washington and Northwest Oregon.

Consistent client communication, data integrity and safety are the guiding principles of our project management methodology. Our staff is highly qualified and credentialed, with vast experience in geology, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, and environmental regulatory requirements. Our in-house soil testing laboratory gives us timely and accurate soil data, which facilitates our competitive cost model and on-time project completion goals.

In addition, Terra Associates, Inc. owns and operates geotechnical instruments such as nuclear testing gauges, slope inclinometers, automated data loggers, water level indicators, and zip levels. This contributes to our ability to obtain quality data through our integrated project delivery approach, without a reliance upon external contractors.
